I love the Lord, love to teach the Word of God, love being a grandmother and love to go to the women's prison! It is a joy to see the Holy Spirit open up "the eyes of the heart" of someone as we study the Bible together. When my husband, Jack (at home with the Lord since 2013), and I came to the Lord over 40 years ago, we became involved in prison ministry with Prison Fellowship International. We were also drawn to missionaries and missions, in Nashville, in the U.S. and overseas. Our farm became a place to host events and people from TN and many different countries, sharing the love of Christ. I am from New Orleans, LA, and met Jack at Rhodes College in Memphis, TN. We married after graduation and moved to Nashville where he attended Vanderbilt Law School, started a family law practice and I was a biochemist at the V.A. hospital. We have two sons, two amazing daughters-in-law, 18 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. I teach a home school class at CHET for 4th-6th grade girls. At SVC last year, I served as the chair of the prayer ministry where every church member is covered in prayer by our team of 38 women. It is such a blessing to be a part of the worship and ministry of Stephens Valley Church.
