I am a native of Nashville. I graduated from John Overton High School in 1973. I then attended and graduated from Belhaven College in Jackson, MS. I went on to Reformed Theological Seminary in Clinton, MS. I was called to serve as the associate pastor at Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Church from 1980–1991 before assuming the leadership of a fledgling church plant in my hometown, Covenant Presbyterian Church. After 25 years of fruitful service, I accepted the ambitious challenge to lead a new work at Stephens Valley Church. I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Kristen, for more than 40 years. We have five grown children and nine grandchildren. When I'm not serving the church, I enjoy being with my family, golfing, playing tennis, snow skiing and playing with our dogs.
